Pose: Balasana (child’s pose)

When I wrote this meditation Christmas was around the corner.

Christmas is the time to spend time with those we love the most.

It is time to slow down and wind down as the end of the year approaches.

Time to recharge our batteries.

Time to take a moment.

Time to catch our breath.

Time to do yoga.

We have to remember that practicing yoga reminds us to slow down our fast paced life.

Balasana or child’s pose reminds us to take a moment to slow down in our yoga practice.

Hold balasana for 3 to 5 minutes and follow your inhalation and your exhalation.

I suggest practicing balasana with the hands in prayer position or in anjali mudra behind the head and having knees opened.
