In a Mysore Yoga class, you practice at your own rhythm, following your breath and moving from one pose to the next according to your own strength and limits. In a traditional Mysore course, the “shala” or the school, is open for a particular block of time, generally morning. Ashtanga classes are often taught in the Mysore Yoga style where students work individually and memorise sequences while the teacher adjusts and supports them. It is an individual experience. This style of yoga is beginner friendly.
